Blackjack

Blackjack is one of our most popular casino hire games. The goal of the game is to beat the dealer by having a hand that is worth more points than the dealer's hand, without going over a total of 21 points. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to play blackjack:

  1. The game begins with the dealer dealing two cards to each player and one card to themselves. The dealer's cards will be face up.

  2. Players can then choose to "hit" (receive another card) or "stand" (keep their current hand). The goal is to get as close to 21 points as possible without going over.

  3. Aces can be worth either 1 or 11 points, depending on which value is more beneficial for the player's hand. Face cards (King, Queen, Jack) are all worth 10 points, and all other cards are worth their face value.

  4. After all players have finished their turns, the dealer will take a second card and hit or stand according to a set of predetermined rules. If the dealer's hand exceeds 21 points, they bust and all remaining players win.

  5. If a player's hand is worth more points than the dealer's hand without going over 21 points, they win. If the dealer's hand is worth more points, the player loses. If both the player and dealer have the same point total, it's a tie (also known as a push).

Remember, while luck plays a role in the game, strategy and knowing when to hit or stand can greatly improve your chances of winning at blackjack.
